Your wedding day actually starts the night or
afternoon before the wedding -- when you
part ways with your fiancé, only to see them
on your wedding day when you are walking
down the aisle.
While this is traditional, there is no reason that
you have to stay apart. If nerves are getting
to you, a quick pre-ceremony hug can do
wonders for your confidence.
Remember to have some breakfast on the
day -- it's going to be a long one. Once the
bridesmaids arrive the fun begins with hair and
make-up appointments and getting dressed.
Once hair and make up are done and the
bride and bridesmaids dressed, the
photographer will arrive for pre wedding
photos. Then it is off to the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the bridal party is generally
whisked away for photos, while the guests
arrive at the reception venue.
While en route to the ceremony, it is a great
time to freshen your hair and make-up.
Once the bridal party arrives, they are
announced to the reception and the evening
begins. A general guide to the reception is
dinner, speeches and toasts, cutting of the
cake and dessert, the bridal dance and then
the throwing of the bouquet and garter.
